THOMAS CREEK ICE ARENA, April 9, 2017 - The visiting Rochester Inferno (D-) took on the Baby Seals in the 2017 Spring Classic 3rd place matchup on Sunday. The Seals defeated the Inferno 2 to 0 at Thomas Creek Ice Arena. This was the 21st match-up between these two teams, and their last matchup was won by the Baby Seals 3-1. The Baby Seals lead the series 14-7-0.

After an intense matchup with a short bench, the Rochester Inferno were not able to make the scorecard beyond Dave Morgan taking a two minute tripping penalty.

Melody King was awarded the tournament taco.
