THOMAS CREEK ICE ARENA, April 9, 2017 - The undefeated Black Socks took on the Rochester Inferno (D-) in a 2017 Spring Classic matchup on Sunday. The final result between the two teams after overtime was a 3 - 3 tie. This was the first match-up between these two teams.

The Rochester Inferno had 8 players that made the scorecard. Ken Klotzbach had 1 goal and 1 assist (2 points). Dave Morgan and Pat Whitman each had 1 goal. Joe Climek, Chris Linford, and Melody King had 1 assist a piece. Jon Gunn and Brian Walsh were both whistled for 2 penalty minutes.

Brian Walsh was awarded the tournament taco. Solidifying the tie, the Inferno moved on to play in the 3rd place game.
