THOMAS CREEK ICE ARENA, April 8, 2017 - The visiting Slippery Sticks took on the Rochester Inferno (D-) in a 2017 Spring Classic matchup on Saturday. The Inferno defeated the 8 to 2 at Thomas Creek Ice Arena. This was the first match-up between these two teams.

The Rochester Inferno had 10 players that made the scorecard. Michael Atseff had 3 goals (3 points), and Pat Whitman had his 3 assists (3 points). Chris Linford, Jon Gunn, and Kevin Brolly each had 1 goal and 1 assist (2 points each). Tim Daly and Ryan Burst each tallied a goal. Joe Climek, Dave Morgan, and Ken Klotzbach each had 1 assist.

Ryan Burst was awarded the tournament taco.
